Code: Start with Five Lives

At the character select screen, hold Up, A, and B while selecting a character. (There is no confirmation tone.) If done correctly, you start the game with five lives.

Code: Super Warp Zone and Five Lives

At the character select screen, press B, A, Down, C, A, Down. If done correctly, a confirmation tone sounds. Select a character. You are taken to a Super Warp Zone where you can choose any stage up to 5-2. You also start with five lives.

Code: Mega Warp Zone and Ten Lives

At the character select screen, press Down, Up, Up, Down, C, A, B. If done correctly, a confirmation tone sounds. Select a character. You are taken to a Mega Warp Zone where you can choose any stage up to 7-1. You also start with ten lives.

Verified using ROM with CRC32 of 8239dd17 with US console region.
